With Week 1 behind us, we were ready to start building. Week 2 was all about focusing on each run and not just checking them off the list. At this point, we should be aware of our paces, both comfortable and uncomfortable, and how we're recovering each week. This week I wanted to focus on the workouts, but more so on the recovery days. As the mileage increases, so does the chance for injury. I plan to stay ahead of the game and on top of recovery so my body has a chance to heal itself post workouts. To continue building a base for what's to come. And thanks to Nike's partnership with Finish Line Physical Therapy, they've made it super easy and accessible for their athletes to remain healthy.
