SNOWY DAY OUT, SWEATY DAY IN

MY PERSONAL MANTRA IS: IT'S NEVER TOO COLD TO RUN. MOST SHAKE THEIR HEADS IN DISMAY AT THAT STATEMENT, BUT TO BE PERFECTLY HONEST, I DON'T CARE. IF ATHLETES WAITED FOR PERFECT WEATHER TO TRAIN, THEY'D HARDLY GET ANYTHING ACCOMPLISHED. IT'S THOSE FRIGID RUNS, OR RAINY RUNS, THAT THICKEN AN ATHLETES SKIN. I MUST ADMIT, HOWEVER, ON CROSS TRAINING DAYS WHEN THE WEATHER IS RATHER CRAPPY, I AM A BIT RELIEVED I CAN STAY INDOORS. THAT CERTAINLY DOESN'T MEAN I DON'T THOROUGHLY ENJOY A SNOWY RUN, BUT THAT'S A WHOLE OTHER TOPIC.
