Did you know May is Mental Health Awareness month? There's no chance I'd be standing where I am today if it weren't for putting my mental health first during these awful, terrifying, exciting, confusing, and unknown months of my life. With the unconditional support and encouragement sitting opposite of this couch, I'm slowly starting to feel like myself again. A wiser, stronger, more vibrant version to boot.

6 months ago, I'd lost all my confidence and mental strength I'd spent the last 26 years building. But I've been lucky enough to nurture what I've lost and sort of re-grow it even stronger than it was before. (With still tons of work to go) I know that wouldn't have been possible without the help and guidance from my therapist, family and friends. I'm no expert, however, I'm adamant that mental health is of utmost importance to live a happy and healthy life and no one should be ashamed of taking care of that. #endthestigma
