TO THE DREAMERS

LAST NIGHT, EMMA STONE BROUGHT ME TO TEARS WITH HER ACCEPTANCE SPEECH FOR WINNING BEST ACTRESS IN A MOTION PICTURE, COMEDY OR MUSICAL. TO SAY LA LA LAND WAS MY FAVORITE MOVIE OF 2016 IS A GREAT UNDERSTATEMENT. ALTHOUGH I AM NO ACTOR, THE PARALLELS TO MY LIFE WERE UNMISTAKABLE AND I FOUND MYSELF COMPLETELY ENGROSSED IN THE CHARACTERS AND ALL OF THEIR STRUGGLES. AND JUST LIKE THE FILM, I FOUND MYSELF ENTRANCED BY EMMA'S ACCEPTANCE SPEECH AS IF SHE WERE TALKING DIRECTLY TO ME. THESE DAYS, I'VE PERSONALLY FELT THAT SLAM OF A DOOR IN YOUR FACE FEELING ALL TOO MUCH AND HER PERFORMANCE IN THE FILM AND ACCEPTANCE SPEECH LAST NIGHT KINDLY REMINDED ME TO NEVER STOP DREAMING. THANK YOU FOR SHARING IT WITH DREAMERS. I WHOLEHEARTEDLY AGREE THAT, "HOPE AND CREATIVITY ARE TWO OF THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS IN THIS WORLD." WITH ANY LUCK, ONE DAY IT WILL ALL BE WORTH IT.

TWO OTHER SPEECHES THAT MOVED AND INSPIRED ME WERE THOSE OF RYAN GOSLING AND OF COURSE MERYL STREEP.

*IF YOU HAVEN'T YET SEEN LA LA LAND, RUN TO THE THEATER TO SEE IT.
