CHANGE

A LOT HAS CHANGED IN THE PAST YEAR. LIKE MOST PEOPLE, I FEAR CHANGE. I'M NOT SURE IF IT'S BECAUSE I GET TOO COMFORTABLE WITH WHAT IS, AND TOO AFRAID OF WHAT COULD BE? I DO KNOW THAT MY BODY REJECTS CHANGE LIKE A KID GETTING HIS OR HER FIRST SHOT. I GET SQUIRMY AND SOMEWHAT HYSTERICAL. I KNOW I HAVE NO BUSINESS ACTING THAT WAY, BUT IT'S ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO CORRECT. I'VE VOWED TO GET BETTER AND ACCEPT THAT SOMETIMES CHANGE IS EXACTLY WHAT NEEDS BE. AND LIKE MOST THINGS, ACCEPTING THAT WILL TAKE TIME. A VERY SPECIAL PERSON ONCE TOLD ME,

"THE MOST PERMANENT THING IN LIFE IS CHANGE."

I'D HEARD IT BEFORE, BUT SOMEHOW IT MEANT MORE COMING FROM HIM. IT'S SO TRUE, AND THE SOONER I (WE) CAN ACCEPT THAT, THE EASIER THINGS WILL BE.
