THANKFUL

LAST THANKSGIVING I WAS RIDDLED WITH ANXIETY. MY LIFE WAS CHANGING AND I HADN'T THE SLIGHTEST CLUE HOW TO HANDLE IT. I WAS THANKFUL TO BE SURROUNDED BY LOVED ONES, BUT MISSED THOSE WE HAD JUST LOST AND WORRIED TERRIBLY ABOUT THE TRANSITION I WOULD FACE IN THE COMING MONTHS. BUT I AM STILL ASTONISHED BY WHAT CAN HAPPEN IN A YEAR. SO MUCH HAS CHANGED, BUT IN THE GREATEST WAY. MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS CONTINUE TO SUPPORT ME (EVEN A FEW HUNDRED MILES AWAY) AND I'M RELAXED ABOUT WHAT LIES AHEAD. TO SAY I AM THANKFUL IS A GROSS UNDERSTATEMENT. I'M GRATEFUL, EVERYDAY, FOR THIS UNPREDICTABLE LIFE, FULL OF FAMILY AND GOOD HEALTH, OLD AND NEW FRIENDS, MY JOB, AND THE ABILITY TO DO WHAT I LOVE. HAPPY THANKSGIVING, EVERYONE. I HOPE YOU'RE SURROUNDED BY THE ONES YOU LOVE MOST, TOO.
